State Libraries & STEM: Resources & Opportunities

State Libraries & STEM: Resources & Opportunities

As public libraries across the United States increase their profiles in promoting STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), State Library Agencies are here to assist.

COSLA has recently partnered with the Space Science Institute and Cornerstones of Science to support their work under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. federal agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD).  The project, NASA@My Library, is a national earth and space science initiative that connects NASA, public libraries and their communities.  Through this project, NASA and the public library community will work together to enhance STEM literacy of library patrons, with a focus on underserved and underrepresented populations, throughout the nation.
