 COSLA Fall Conference Objective

The Fall Conference is an opportunity for Chief Officers of state and territorial agencies to network and build essential relationships while participating in sessions that help advance the library community and their state agencies. This is an exclusive event held for COSLA Chiefs. Registration, room accommodations, and meals will be provided by COSLA.

Note – Three nights hotel is covered by COSLA for each State Chief Librarian (or designee), and COSLA will make the reservations based on arrival and departure dates included in registration. 

The hotel is approximately 50 miles from the Kansas City International Airport in Kansas City, MO . All participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements between the airport and the hotel. Suggested options include:

  • Car Rental – most national rental companies are available, and attendees may rent a car at their own expense. Self-parking at The Oread is available for $25 per day and is the responsibility of each attendee.
  • Taxi and Rideshare services are also available from the airport.
